A fine early quality manufacture example of a Paratrooper/Fallschrimjäger badge; in gilded and silvered tombac; needle style vertical pinback with a barrel hinge and a flat wire catch (catch is bent looped too far, not allowing the pin to open); two fully intact countersunk rivets; maker marked “G.H Osang, Dresden” on the reverse; measuring 54.08 mm x 42.63 mm; weighing 43.9 grams; better than extremely fine.
