Ttwo-piece construction; oval wreath, in silvered tombac, with laurel wreaths towards the left side and oak leaves towards the right side, separated by three small ribbon-like loops on the bottom, with a large patinated eagle (in tombac) with spread-out wings superimposed on the wreath, clutching a swastika in its talons; two tombac rivets on the reverse; vertical needle style pinback with a barrel hinge and a round wire catch; slightly vaulted; maker marked “C.E. Juncker, Berlin, S.W” on the reverse; measuring 64.0mm (w) x 53.0 mm (h); weighing 35.7 grams; with very fine old patina, slightly worn example, in extremely fine fine condition.
