Germany, Luftwaffe. A Shooting Lanyard, Grade II
(Schlüsselband). A lanyard constructed of bluish-purple threading, all braided into an ornate knot with silver aluminum bullion wires embroidered into the braiding in a chevron formation, with a silvered aluminum applique depicting a national eagle gripping a mobile swastika in its talons, the knot with a grey wool backer; with an acorn attached to the lower end of the lanyard, both ends ending in a loop for uniform attachment, measuring 43 cm long, with some of the silver wires having come undone due to age and wear, but overall near extremely fine condition.
