Constructed of feinzink, the obverse with a central lion circumscribed by an inscription of “ERHALTEN BLEIBEN MUSS DIE DEUTSCHE NATION” (“THE GERMAN NATION MUST BE PRESERVED”) and oak leaf branches, the reverse with a central inscription of “FÜR TREUE DIENSTLEISTUNGEN IM BEREICH DES LUFTGAUKOMMANDOS BELGIEN-NORDFRANKFREICH” (“FOR FATIFHUL SERVICE IN THE AIR COMMAND REGION OF BELGIUM AND NORTHERN FRANCE”) above a Luftwaffe eagle clutching a mobile swastika, within an oak leaf wreath topped by an Iron Cross, unmarked, measuring 41.46 mm in diameter, weighing 25.1 grams, in extremely fine condition.
