Germany, Luftwaffe. A Bronze Grade Luftwaffe Close Combat Clasp, 1957 Issue

(Luftwaffe Nahkampfspange in Bronze). Constructed of bronze with silvered features, depicting obverse Luftwaffe-style German national eagle clutching a stick grenade and bayonet within a laurel wreath, flanked on each side by nine oak leaves, reverse plain with barrel hinge and narrow banjo-style pinback meeting a flat wire catch, unmarked, measuring 77.06 mm (w) x 25.55 mm (h) and weighing 18.8 grams, in extremely fine condition.
