(Frontflugspange für Nachtjäger in Silber). Constructed of silvered and blackened zink, the obverse consisting of a central upward-pointing winged arrow, within a circular laurel leaf wreath, joined together at the bottom by a swastika, flanked on each side by nine oak leaves, the reverse with a barrel hinge and tapering horizontal pinback meeting a flat wire catch, maker marked “G.H. OSANG, DRESDEN”, measuring 76.80 mm (w) x 26.00 mm (h), weighing 17.9 grams, with evidence of period repair to the hinge, in overall better than very fine condition.
