A Second War quality Luftwaffe Squadron Clasp for Bomber Pilots; gold grade; in gilded zink; broad horizontal pinback with a functional hinge/catch assembly; maker marked “F & B. L.” (Funcke & Brüninghaus, Lüdenscheid); measuring 74.60 mm x 24.97 mm; weighing 17.9 grams. Accompanied by its original case of issue; constructed of heavy pressed paper with a lightly textured dark blue faux leather (leatherette) exterior; embossed “Frontflugspange für Kampfflieger - gold” on the exterior of the lid; functional push button; intact interior fabric hinge cover; functional exterior metal hinge; measuring 90 mm x 42 mm; better than very fine condition.
