A fine quality manufacture German Eagle Order with Swords (Deutscher Adlerorden V. Klasse mit Schwertern) by a well-known maker; multi-piece construction; maltesian cross in gilded silver and well preserved white enamels; with four national eagles (Hoheitszeichen) between the arms of the cross; on loop for suspension; unmarked, but with typical characteristics of Godet & Sohn Manufacture; on a period-original ribbon with a horizontal pinback sewn onto the reverse; measuring 45.17 mm x 45.17 mm; weighing 23.6 grams; extremely fine condition.
