Stufe; men’s issue; in bronze gilt and black and white enamels; on loop for suspension; with its period-original ribbon; measuring 40.23 mm x 40.13 mm; weighing 16.5 grams; mint condition. Original case of issue; constructed of heavy pressed paper with a red faux leather (leatherette) exterior and a dark blue satin lined lid; embossed “LDO” in gold; a recessed medal bed; functional spring catch with stud release; intact interior fabric hinge cover; functional exterior metal hinge; mint condition.
