Danzig, Free City. A Cross of Merit of the Red Cross, II Class, c.1934
An eight-pointed cross paty constructed of silver and multi-coloured enamels, the obverse centre bears a red enamel cross on a white enamel background, circumscribed with “ROTES KREUZ DER FREIEN STADT DANZIG” (RED CROSS OF THE FREE CITY OF DANZIG), encompassed by a laurel wreath,the reverse is plain, on a suspension loop with red and white ribbon bow, measuring 40.10 mm (w) x 39.74 mm (h), very fine.
