A fine quality manufacture German Eagle Order with Swords (Deutscher Adlerorden V. Klasse mit Schwertern) by a well-established maker; multi-piece construction; Malthusian cross in silver gilt and well preserved, thick and fine quality white enamels; with four national eagles (Hoheitszeichen) between the arms of the cross; on a thin round loop for suspension; with a correct replacement ribbon; measuring 45.13 mm x 45.12 mm; weighing 25.4 grams, unmarked however exhbiting the manufacturing characteristics of Zimmermann, near extremely fine condition.
