An extremely fine quality manufacture Verdienstorden vom Deutschen Adler mit Schwerter; multi-piece construction; maltesian cross in silver (marked “900”) and extremely well preserved high quality manufacture white enamels; with four hand carved national eagles (Hoheitszeichen), one between each of the four arms of the cross, and crossed swords; marked “21” for “Godet & Co. of Berlin” on the vertical banjo style pin with a block hinge and a rounded wire catch; measuring 49.17 mm x 47.74 mm; weighing 28.1 grams; near mint condition with the enamels near perfectly preserved.
