What's a max bid?

A mint and extremely fine quality manufacture German Eagle Order First Class/Deutscher Adlerorden Erste Stufe; 3rd class out of 9 classes, but formerly known as the 1st class with only the Grand Cross German Eagle with Star and the Grand Cross of the German Eagle in Gold with Star ranking above this example; multi-piece construction; maltesian cross in silver (marked “800” on the loop) and extremely well preserved high quality manufacture white enamels; with four hand carved national eagles (Hoheitszeichen), one between each of the four arms of the cross; unmarked but depicting the textbook traits of an example manufactured by “Godet & Co. of Berlin”; measuring 49.28 mm x 49.41 mm without the loop; weighing 22.4 grams; with only a minor chip in the enamels on the bottom of the left arm; accompanied by its mint period-original neck ribbon; mint/near mint condition.
