Of multi-piece construction, consisting of a silver gilt Maltese cross with white enameled arms, with four national eagles (Hoheitszeichen) separately affixed between each arm of the cross; the obverse and reverse identical; on a loop for suspension - marked “900” for silver content, as well as “21” for “Godet & Co.”; with a correct replacement ribbon; measuring 45.14 mm (w) x 44.98 mm (h); weighing 18.2 grams; light flaking of the enamels; in overall better than very fine condition.
