A second class breast star consisting of a six-pointed silver star with a silver gilt Maltese cross with white enameled arms attached to the obverse, with partially enameled national eagles between the arms of the cross; the reverse plain, with two rivets, with a vertical pinback, and a functional hinge/catch assembly, marked 800 and SILBER, measuring 72.89 mm (h), weighing 59.1 grams, light contact marks, with nice old patina, and in extremely fine condition. This early type of the star is attributed to maker Deschler.
