What's a max bid?

Constructed of silver with enamels, consisting of a Maltese Cross, the obverse with white enamelled arms, bearing central silver crossed swords, the quadrants of the cross joined by silver NSDAP-style German national eagles clutching wreathed mobile swastikas on white enamelled backgrounds, the reverse with a barrel hinge and tapering vertical pinback meeting a round wire catch, the pinback bearing a silver content mark of 900 and maker code 21 for Gebrüder Godet & Co., Berlin, measuring 65.67 mm (w) x 75.82 mm (h), weighing 50.4 grams, accompanied by its period original case of issue, constructed of card stock with a faux red leather exterior, the obverse lid with a gold embossed NSDAP-style German national eagle clutching a wreathed mobile swastika, with a gold embossed border, the interior with a padded white satin-type lid liner bearing a gold inscription of Stern des Deutschen Adlerordens mit Schwertern (Star of the German Eagle Order with Swords), with an intact hinge cover, slotted and depressed black doeskin wool medal bed, opening with a functional magnetic metal snap button, with a functional magnetic metal hinge, unmarked, measuring 131 mm (w) x 131 mm (l) x 29 mm (h), in near extremely fine condition.
