(Medaille für Rettung aus Gefahr). Constructed of silvered bronze, on loop for suspension from its period original ribbon, the obverse with a raised German national eagle overlaid by a mobile swastika, the reverse with an inscription of “FÜR RETTUNG AUS GEFAHR” (“FOR RESCUE FROM DANGER”), within an oak leaf wreath, unmarked, measuring 24.28 mm in diameter, weighing 8.0 grams, in very fine condition.
