(Ehrenkreuz der Deutschen Mutter in Gold). Constructed of gilded bronze with multi-coloured enamels, sun rays emanating between the arms of a Latin Cross from the centre applique, central medallion depicting a black enameled swastika ringed by a raised inscription of “DER DEUTSCHEN MUTTER” (“THE GERMAN MOTHER”), on loop with period original ribbon, reverse inscribed with institution date of “16 Dezember 1938” and facsimile of the Führer and Reichskanzler, unmarked, measuring 35 mm (w) x 45 mm (h), accompanied by its period original case of issue, constructed of cardstock with faux black leather exterior, award embossed in gold on lid exterior, white interior satin-type liner marked “LIEFERGEMEINSCHAFT PFORZHEIMER INNUNGEN”, intact fabric hinge cover, recessed white felt medal bed, functional magnetic metal spring catch with exterior stud release, functional magnetic metal hinge, measuring 50 mm (w) x 113 mm (l), in near extremely fine condition.
