(Ehrenkreuze der Deutschen Mutter). A pair of Honour Crosses of the German Mother, featuring one Bronze Grade and one Gold Grade, each constructed of bronze with multi-coloured enamels, on loops for suspension from period original ribbons, consisting of Latin Crosses with obverse blue and white enameled arms, with central medallions bearing black swastikas circumscribed with raised inscription of “DER DEUTSCHEN MUTTER” (“TO THE GERMAN MOTHER”), and with radiant designs between the quadrants, the reverse of each engraved with institution dates of “16. DEZEMBER 1938” and facsimiles of the signature of the Führer, both unmarked and measuring 36 mm (w) x 46 mm (h), in overall near extremely fine condition.
