A pair of Honour Crosses of the German Mother, including one bronze grade and one gold grade, each constructed of bronze with multi-colorued enamels, on loops for suspension from period original ribbon, the obverse of each with blue and white enameled arms, with a central white disc bearing a black swastika, circumscribed by an inscription of “DER DEUTSCHEN MUTTER” (“TO THE GERMAN MOTHER”), with sun rays between the quadrants, the reverse of each with an etched institution date of “16. DEZEMBER 1938” and a signature of the Führer, both unmarked and measuring 36 mm (w) x 46 mm (h), in overall near extremely fine condition.
