(Ehrenkreuze der Deutschen Mutter). A pair of Honour Crosses of the German Mother, each constructed of bronze with multi-coloured enamels, on loop for suspension from period original ribbons, consisting of Latin Crosses, with blue and white enameled obverse arms, with central black swastikas on white enameled discs, circumscribed by raised inscriptions of “DER DEUTSCHEN MUTTER” (“TO THE GERMAN MOTHER”), with radiant sun rays between the quadrants, the reverse of each with an etched institution date of “16. DEZEMBER 1938” and signatures of the Führer, both unmarked and measuring 36 mm (w) x 46 mm (h), with minor flecking of enamels evident, in overall better than very fine condition.
