1. An award document for an Honour Cross of the German Mother, Silver Grade, constructed of off-white paper stock with black ink, named to Rosa Siebold (née Wetzel), a resident of Freiburg im Breisgau, issued in Berlin on 1 October 1939, featuring facsimile signatures of the Führer and Otto Meissner, measuring 210 mm (w) x 295 mm (h), in extremely fine condition; accompanied by an award issue package, constructed of blue paper stock, the exterior bearing an inscription of “EHRENRKEUZ DER DEUTSCHEN MUTTER ZWEITE STUFE” and maker’s mark of “CARL FORSTER & GRAF, SCH.-GMÜND”, measuring 104 mm (w) x 130 mm (h), in near mint condition, and; a small photo showing Siebold seated with family members and wearing the award, the reverse bearing a handwritten date of “MAI 1943”, measuring 88 mm (w) x 65 mm (h), in extremely fine condition.
2. An Honour Cross of the German Mother, Bronze Grade, constructed of bronze with multi-coloured enamels, on loop for suspension from its period original ribbon, consisting of a Latin Cross with its arms joined together through the quadrants by stylized sun rays, the obverse with blue and white enameled arms, with a central white enamel disc bearing a black swastika, circumscribed by a raised inscription of “DER DEUTSCHEN MUTTER” (“TO THE GERMAN MOTHER”), the reverse bearing an etched institution date of “16. DEZEMBER 1938” and signature of the Führer, unmarked, measuring 36 mm (w) x 46 mm (h), in extremely fine condition.
