(Ehrenkreuz der Deutschen Mutter in Bronze). Constructed of silvered bronze with multi-coloured enamels, horizontal pinback, consisting of a Latin Cross with blue and white enameled arms, with radiant designs through the quadrants of the arms, the obverse with a central medallion depicting a black enameled swastika on a white enameled background, circumscribed by raised inscription of “DER DEUTSCHEN MUTTER” (“THE GERMAN MOTHER”), unmarked, measuring 26.05 mm (w) x 30.65 mm (h), weighing 5.4 grams, in very fine condition.
