What's a max bid?

If another auction participant places a bid of $110 dollars, the system will subsequently place a bid of $111 dollars on your behalf. The system will continue to bid in $1.00 dollar increments until your maximum bid of $120 dollars is exceeded.

If another auction participant places a bid for $125 dollars, the auction lot price will display $121 dollars having exceeded your previously submitted maximum bid by $1.00 dollar.

(Medaille zur Erinnerung an den 13. März 1938 mit Etui). Constructed of silvered bronze, on loop for suspension from its period original ribbon with horizontal pinback, the obverse bearing two raised figures, one of which is clutching a flag and the other a length of broken chain, above a German national eagle clutching a wreathed mobile swastika, the reverse bearing a central date of “13. MÄRZ 1938”, circumscribed by an inscription of “EIN VOLK, EIN REICH, EIN FÜHRER” (“FOR PEOPLE, ONE NATION, ONE LEADER”), unmarked, measuring 32.26 mm in diameter, weighing 17.1 grams (inclusive of ribbon), accompanied by its original presentation case, constructed of a light wooden frame with a faux red leather exterior liner, the lid bearing a gilt German national eagle clutching a wreathed mobile swastika, the interior with a white rayon lid liner and intact hinge cover, with a maroon felt medal bed, closing with a functional metal spring catch with exterior stud release, unmarked, measuring 48 mm (w) x 102 mm (l) x 22 mm (h), demonstrating minor loss of finish and material fatigue to the medal and case, respectively, in near extremely fine condition.
