Germany, HJ. A 1935/36 HJ National Ski Competition Third Place Victor’s Plaque
(Reichs-Mannschaftskämpfe Schilauf Plakette). Constructed of a silvered bronze alloy with multi-coloured enamels, the obverse consisting of an oval ring, overlaid by a raised inscription of “REICHS-MANNSCHAFTS-KÄMPFE IM SCHILAUF 1935/36”, overlaid by a pair of skis bearing an edelweiss with an enameled HJ insignia centrepiece, the reverse bearing an engraved inscription of “3. SIEGER KL. C.” indicating a third-place finish, otherwise unmarked, measuring 56 mm (w) x 85 mm (h), in near extremely fine condition.
