Germany, HJ. A 1938 Victor’s Badge in the National Region-Level Trade Competition
        (HJ Gausieger Ehrenabzeichen). Multi-piece construction of silvered tombac and multi-coloured enamels; the obverse consisting of a National eagle with open arms clutching a cogwheel with a traditional HJ diamond superimposed on it - the background consisting of a cream-coloured enameld field, inscribed “Gausieger 1938” within a laurel wreath; the reverse insccribed “W. Schmidt”, and maker marked “G. Brehmer, Markneukirchen); with a vertical pinback, a barrel hinge, and a round wire catch; measuring 49.00 mm (w) x 46.82 mm (h); in overall very fine condition.
