(Ehrenzeichen Kreissieger im Reichsberufswettkampf). Constructed of bronze with multi-coloured enamels, the obverse consisting of white enameled disc bearing an inscription of “KREISSIEGER 1939” (“REGIONAL WINNER 1939”), within a laurel wreath, overlaid by a German national eagle clutching a cog wheel, in turn bearing a HJ insignia in the form of a red and white enameled diamond with a central black mobile swastika, the reverse with a barrel hinge and vertical pinback meeting a flat wire catch, maker marked “H. AURICH, DRESDEN A.16” along with the firm’s logo, measuring 48.74 mm (w) x 47.10 mm (h), weighing 26.4 grams, in near extremely fine condition.
