Constructed of bronze with multi-coloured enamels, the obverse with a white enameled disk, inscribed “KREISSIEGER 1938”, within a laurel leaf wreath, overlaid by an insignia in the form of a German national eagle clutching a cogwheel bearing a red and white enameled HJ diamond, the reverse with a barrel hinge and vertical pinback meeting a flat wire catch, maker marked “Gustav Brehmer, Markneukirchen”, measuring 49.20 mm (w) x 47.20 mm (h), weighing 27.3 grams, in near extremely fine condition
