Constructed of bronze, the obverse consisting of a circular oak leaf wreath, overlaid by a sword on top of a mobile swastika, the reverse with a barrel hinge and vertical pinback meeting a flat wire catch, maker marked “E. SCHNEIDER, LÜDENSCHEID” and stamped with an award number of “267978”, measuring 44.96 mm (w) x 57.41 mm (h), weighing 18.1 grams, accompanied by a stick pin miniature, constructed of bronze, the reverse marked “6”, measuring 14 mm (w) x 16 mm (h), both pinned to an original card stock backer stamped with an issue number of “267978”, secreted within a period original two-piece card stock presentation case, also accompanied by a matching award document, named to “ALFRED HASELOW”, dated 9 may 1935 and stamped with an award number of “267978”, a rare complete and matching type II set in near mint condition.
