A third reich period DRK (Deutsches Rotes Kreuz/German Red Cross) Helferin badge; in silvered bronze with red, white, and black enamels; the obverse with a white enameled medallion and a red enameled red cross in the centre, with a black enameled border inscribed “Deutsches Rotes Kreuz Helferin”; the reverse plain, with a horizontal pinback; maker marked “Ges. Gesch.” on the reverse; measuring 29.83 mm in diameter; weighing 8.8 grams; very fine condition.
