What's a max bid?

(Volkspflege Medaillen). A pair of social welfare medals, including a German Red Cross (DRK) Medal, 1937 version, constructed of silvered bronze with multi-coloured enamels, on loop for suspension from its period original ribbon, the obverse consisting of a Geneva Cross with red enameled arms overlaid by a central black enameled DRK-style German national eagle clutching a wreathed mobile swastika, joined together through the outer quadrants by a circular ring with white frontal enameling, the reverse pebbled and bearing an inscription of “FÜR VERDIENSTE UM DAS DEUTSCHE ROTE KREUZ” (“FOR MERIT IN THE GERMAN RED CROSS”), unmarked, measuring 37.92 mm in diameter, weighing 17.1 grams (inclusive of ribbon), with some flecking of enamels evident in addition to a small chip to the ring at the nine o’clock position, in very fine condition, and; a Social Welfare Decoration, IV Class, constructed of silvered bronze, on loop for suspension from its period original ribbon, the obverse bearing a raised Geneva Cross overlaid by a German national eagle clutching a wreathed mobile swastika, the reverse bearing an inscription of “MEDAILLE FÜR DEUTSCHE VOLKSPFLEGE” (“MEDAL FOR CARE OF THE GERMAN PEOPLE”), unmarked, measuring 38.16 mm in diameter, weighing 26.1 grams (inclusive of ribbon), in extremely fine condition.
