A mint fine quality manufacture Social Welfare Decoration (Ehrenzeichen für deutsche Volkspflege) by a highly desirable maker; 3rd Grade/3. Stufe; men’s issue; in bronze gilt and black and white enamels; on loop for suspension; with mint and unissued original ribbon; measuring 40.15 mm x 40.1 mm; mint condition. Original case of issue; constructed of thick cardstock with a red faux leather exterior; interior lid with a padded dark blue pillow with loop for placement of the ribbon; the bed constructed of dark blue velvet with a recessed medal bed; functional push-button; intact interior fabric hinge cover; functional external hinge; crisp edges on the outside; measuring 72 mm x 66 mm; bottom of the case embossed with Godet seal; in near mint condition.
