Constructed of bronzed magnetic metal, on loop for suspension from its period original ribbon, unmarked, measuring 38 mm (w) x 44 mm (h), accompanied by its original certificate of issue, measuring 210 mm (w) x 148 mm (h), dated 30 March 1935, awarded to Otto Schmidt, an inhabitant of Löhnberg, with award number “2835/35”, includes First War period photo of recipient, in uniform of an EM/NCO of the Imperial German Army, measuring 90 mm (w) x 140 mm (h), in extremely fine condition.
