(Frontkriegerbund Ehrenzeichen). A silver cross pattée, the obverse centre presents an enamelled German Imperial coat of arms, bordered by a gilded wreath, the letters K F B appear on each of the top arms of the cross, the date 1914/18 on the six o’clock arm, reverse presents a vertical pinback, maker marked DESCHLER U. SOHN MÜNCHEN, marked GESETZL. GESCHÜTZT, measuring 41.52 mm (w) x 41.09 mm (h), weighing 16.8 grams, and in near very fine condition.
