Constructed of silvered bronze, vertical pinback, the obverse bearing a raised and finely-detailed elephant circumscribed by an inscription of “SÜDSEE, AFRIKA, KIAUTSCHOU”, above an oak leaf wreath, the reverse bearing a patent number of “33992”, measuring 33.93 mm (w) x 38.98 mm (h), weighing 20.1 grams, in extremely fine condition.
