(Deutsches-Feld-Ehrenzeichen). A white enamel Leopold cross paty superimposed on an eight-rayed star, the central medallion bears the image of a left-facing marching soldier, the medallion is encompassed by a pearled border and two upwards facing crossed swords lay behind the medallion, the reverse bears a vertical pinback and the inscription “Deutsches Feld Ehrenzeichen” (German Field Honour), the makers mark “GES GESCH Hamburg 11”, measuring 52.47 mm (w) x 64.01 mm (h), very fine.
