Constructed of silvered bronze, on loop for suspension, consisting of an eight-pointed radiant star, the obverse with a central leftward-facing German soldier as the centerpiece of a Cross Pattée with white enameled arms, with gilt crossed swords piercing the centre, unmarked, measuring 16.48 mm (w) x 22.19 mm (h), weighing 3.0 grams, in better than very fine condition.
