Germany, Weimar Republic. A Liberation of the Rhineland Constitution Day Table Medal
(Rheinlandbefreiung Erinnerungsmedaille). Constructed of silvered bronze, the obverse depicting a German national eagle perched on top of a bridge over the Rhine, the reverse with a central inscription of “EHRENPREIS DES REICHS-PRÄSIDENTEN” (“HONOUR PRIZE OF THE REICH PRESIDENT”), circumscribed by an inscription of “VERFASSUNGSTAG IM JAHRE DER RHEINLANDBEFREIUNG 1930” (“CONSTITUTION DAY IN THE YEAR OF THE LIBERATION OF THE RHINELAND 1930”), 78 mm in daimeter, in extremely fine condition.
