(Medaillen). A pair of Weimar-era medals, including a Silesian Eagle, II Class, constructed of silvered bronze, on loop for suspension from its period original ribbon, the obverse consisting of a Silesian-style German national eagle, overlaid by a crescent moon and cross, gripping a banner in its talons bearing a raised inscription of “FÜR SCHLESIEN” (“FOR SILESIA”), the reverse with four visible rivets securing the obverse features in place, unmarked, measuring 32.11 mm (w) x 46.45 mm (h), weighing 19.2 grams, in extremely fine condition, and; a War Honour Cross, constructed of bronze, on loop for suspension from its period original ribbon, unmarked, measuring 42.27 mm (w) x 47.42 mm (h), weighing 13.9 grams, in extremely fine condition.
