An 1895 pattern Bavarian Heer Enlisted buckle, constructed of partially-silvered brass, the obverse bearing a central raised crown, set within a ribbed ring bearing an inscription of “IN TREUE FEST” (“STEADFAST IN LOYALTY”) with oak leaf branches, the reverse with a loop and swivel attachment claws, unmarked, measuring 62 mm (w) x 48 mm (h), demonstrating minor scratching to the base metal, in extremely fine condition.
2. A Reichswehr (Heer) Enlisted buckle, constructed of silvered bronze, the obverse bearing a central raised Reichswehr-style German national eagle, circumscribed by an inscription of “GOTT MIT UNS” (“GOD WITH US”) with laurel branches, the reverse with swivel attachment claws, unmarked, measuring 60 mm (w) x 44 mm (h), in extremely fine condition.
