Constructed of gilded bronze, on loop for suspension, the obverse bearing a raised depiction of gymnasts, circumscribed by an inscription of “KREIS TURNFEST JULY 5. 6. 7. ‘29 DETROIT MICH.”, above an inscription of “GUT HEIL” flanked by oak leaf branches, the reverse maker marked “WEYHING BROS. DETROIT”, measuring 38 mm in diameter, in extremely fine condition.
