(Stadt Nordhausen Jubiläumsmedaille mit Etui). Constructed of brown earthenware, the obverse bearing a central raised depiction of Roland, flanked by dates “927-1927”, the reverse bearing a central raised city coat of arms, circumscribed by an inscription of “NORDHAUSEN DIE TAUSENDJÄHRIGE STADT AM HARZ” (“NORDHAUSEN THE THOUSAND-YEAR CITY IN THE HARZ”), unmarked, measuring 42 mm in diameter, accompanied by its period original presentation case, constructed of a card stock frame with a faux dark green leather exterior liner, the interior of the lid bearing an anniversary dedication, with a depressed green felt medal bed, measuring 72 mm (w) x 72 mm (l) x 20 mm (h), the case demonstrating minor material fatigue, the medallion in a near mint condition.
