Germany, Weimar Republic. A Pair of Decorations
(Abzeichen). A pair of decorations, including a Field Artillery Honour Cross, constructed of gilded bronze, on loop for suspension, consisting of a Maltese Cross with its arms joined through the quadrants by an oak leaf wreath, the latter bearing an inscription of “EHRENKREUZ DER FELD ARTILLERIE” (“HONOUR CROSS OF THE FIELD ARTILLERY”), the three and nine o’clock arms of the cross bearing an inscription of “PRO GLORIA ET PATRIA” (“FOR GLORY AND FATHERLAND”), the six o’clock and twelve o’clock arms overlaid by a raised canon, the reverse bearing an etched maker’s mark of “H.J. WILM, BERLIN”, measuring 46 mm (w) x 54 mm (h), in extremely fine condition, and; a Beskid Association badge, constructed of silvered bronze with enamels, horizontal pinback, unmarked, measuring 42 mm (w) x 52 mm (h), in near extremely fine condition.
