A “Der Stahlhelm” Member’s Belt Buckle; 1940 Issue

This is a “Der Stahlhelm” Veteran’s Organization member’s belt buckle; two-piece construction of brass with a stamped silvered brass centrepiece of a full oak leaf wreath with a leftward facing Stahlhelm in the centre affixed to the buckle via two solder points (visible on the reverse); the reverse with a standard double-claw prongs and stamped catch; measuring 63 mm x 48 mm; the silvering of the applique completely worn off due to age and wear; in better than very fine condition.
