What's a max bid?

All bids are subject to a Buyer's Premium which is in addition to the placed successful bid. The following rate of Buyer's Premium will be added to the Hammer Price of each Lot that you purchase:

An Early Stahlhelm Veteran's Organisation Belt Buckle c.1925

In stamped brass base with brass face plated affixed by two spot solders, early full oak leaf wreath with small helmet, measuring 60 x 48mm, worn, very fine. Similar to the buckle displayed on page 370 of Angolia's publication.

Footnote: From the collection of approximately 900 German buckles accumulated by John R. Angolia, who start collecting buckles, belts and brocades from 1944 until around 1990; most of the buckles were obtained from the American and German veterans; most of these buckles present a core of Angolia’s book “Belt Buckles & Brocades of the Third Reich”, published in 2001.
