A first and second war German medal bar grouping, consisting of 1) An Iron Cross 1914 Second Class; white metal cross pattée of multi-piece construction with a blackened iron core (magnetic) within a white metal ribbed border; on loop for suspension;;the obverse with a raised central “W”, with the re-institution date “1914” in raised numbering on the lower arm, and the royal crown on the upper arm; the reverse with a central oak-leaf branch consisting of three oak leaves, with the original institution date “1813” in raised numbers on the lower arm, a raised Prussian crown on the upper arm, with “FW” in equally raised lettering directly below: measuring 42.37 mm x 42.19 mm, 2) A Hindenburg Cross; in bronzed metal (magnetic); maker marked “R.V. Pforzheim” on the reverse; measuring 38.02 mm x 38.16 mm, 3) A 25-Year Police Long Service Cross; in fire gilded bronze; a cross pattee with an oval wreath and a national eagle superimposed on the obverse clutching a wreathed mobile swastika; the reverse inscribed “Für Treue Dienste in der Polizei”; on a loop for suspension; measuring 42.90 mm x 42.95 mm, 4) A Hungarian War Service medal; constructed of silvered bronze; measuring 36.93 mm in diameter; metal core (magnetic); mounted on period original ribbons; grey wool backer; horizontal pinback; overall near extremely fine condition.
