A fine second war German medal bar grouping, consisting of an Iron Cross 1939 Second Class, a Wehrmacht 4-Year Long Service medal, and a Commemorative Westwall medal; the Iron Cross 1939 Second Class, a Eastern Winter Campaign Medal, and a Commemorative Sudetenland medal; the “Eisernes Kreuz 1939 2. Klasse”; white metal cross pattée of multi-piece construction with a blackened iron core (magnetic) within a white metal ribbed border; on loop for suspension; the obverse with a raised central mobile swastika with the re-institution date “1939” in raised numbering on the lower arm; the reverse with the original institution date “1813” in raised numbering on the lower arm; measuring 44.08 mm x 44.03mm; the “Dienstauszeichnung IV. Klasse für 4 Dienstjahre); circular silvered metal (magnetic); on loop for suspension; the obverse with the German eagle in the centre, circumscribed in German Gothic lettering “Treue Dienste in der Wehrmacht” (Faithful Service in the Armed Forces); the reverse with the raised number “4” centrally within an oak wreath border; measuring 29.81 mm; the “Deutsches Schutzwall-Ehrenzeichen”; oval zink alloy; on a loop for suspension; the obverse with a crossed shovel and sword in the centre, and a concrete pillbox/bunker directly below, as well as with the German national eagle above, all within an oak leaf wreath; the reverse inscribed “Für Arbeit zum schutze Deutschlands” (For labour for the protection of Germany) within an oak wreath; measuring 40.75 mm x 33.20 mm; parade mounted to a German style ribbon bar; metal core (magnetic); grey wool backer; horizontal pinback; mint condition.
