Germany, Third Reich. A First and Second World War Period Medal Bar, with Austrian Awards

(Ordenschnalle). A First and Second War period medal bar featuring four decorations, including a Honour Cross of the World War 1914/18 with Swords (Das Ehrenkreuz des Weltkriegs 1914/1918), a straight armed cross pattée in bronzed iron, with crossed swords between the arms, the centre obverse displays a laurel wreath encircling the dates 1914 1918, reverse presents maker mark W.R., measuring 37.51 mm (w) x 38.60 mm (h), on loop for suspension from period original ribbon, and in very fine condition. A Austrian War Commemorative Medal, with swords, in gilt bronze;,on the obverse an Austrian eagle, inscribed FÜR ÖSTERREICH (FOR AUSTRIA), the reverse inscribed with dates 1914-1918, encircled by a border of oak leaves, measuring 36.03 mm in diameter, on loop for suspension from period original ribbon, and in near very fine condition. A Sudetenland Medal, a round medal, the obverse with two raised male figures, the one on the right bearing the German flag in his left hand, with his right hand placed around the shoulders of the figure on the left, with broken chains around his right arm (symbolic of the liberation of the Sudeten Germans from Czechoslovak oppression), with the German eagle directly below, the reverse with the date 1. Oktober 1938 centrally and circumscribed EIN VOLK, EIN REICH, EIN FÜHRER (One People, One Empire, One Leader), unmarked, measuring 32.22 mm in diameter, on loop for suspension from period original ribbon, and in near very fine condition. A German Police 18-Year Long Service Cross, constructed of silvered bronze, presenting as a cross pattée with bordered arms, obverse with central Ordnungspolizei-style German national eagle clutching a wreathed mobile swastika, on top of an oval oak leaf wreath, reverse with inscription of FÜR TREUE DIENSTE IN DER POLIZEI (FOR FAITHFUL SERVICE IN THE POLICE), unmarked, measuring 43.12 mm (w) x 43.93 mm (h), on loop for suspension from its period original ribbon, and in good condition. All on period original ribbons, mounted to a suspension with a green wool backing and swing bar pinback.
