What's a max bid?

Germany, Imperial. A Hanseatic Cross Medal Bar

(Bandschnalle). A medal bar with two decorations, including a 1914 Iron Cross, II Class (Eisernes Kreuz 1914 2. Klasse), a cross pattée of multi-piece construction with a blackened iron core (magnetic) within a ribbed border, the obverse with a raised central W under an Imperial crown, and institution date 1914 in raised numbering on the lower arm, the reverse centre with a branch of three oak leaves below the crowned initials FW, with the original institution date 1813 in raised numbering on the lower arm, measuring 42.65 mm (w) x 46.41 mm (h), and in very fine condition. A Hanseatic Cross (Hanseatenkreuz), a cross pattée constructed of silver-plated bronze with red-enamelled arms, the obverse centre displays a medallion bearing a Lübeck coat of arms, the reverse centre presents the inscription FÜR VERDIENST IM KRIEGE 1914 (FOR MERIT IN WAR 1914), measuring 40.13 mm (w) x 43.99 mm (h), and in very fine condition. The decorations are affixed to appropriate period original ribbons, on a 71 mm-long metal bar, maker marked D.R.P., and horizontal pinback.
