Germany, Wehrmacht. A First and Second World War Medal Bar
(Bandschnalle). A combined First and Second World War period medal bar featuring four decorations, including a 1914 Iron Cross, II Class (Eisernes Kreuz 1914 2. Klasse), a cross pattée of multi-piece construction with a blackened iron core (magnetic) within a ribbed border, the obverse with a raised central W, with the re-institution date 1914 in raised numbering on the lower arm, and the royal crown on the upper arm, the reverse centre with a branch of three oak leaves below the crowned initials FW, with the original institution date 1813 in raised numbering on the lower arm, measuring 42.52 mm (w) x 48.12 mm (h), on loop for suspension from period original ribbon, and in very fine condition. A NSDAP 10-Year Long Service award (Dienstauszeichnung), constructed of bronze, consisting of a cross pattée with ribbed rays at each quadrant, the obverse with a central NSDAP-style German national eagle clutching a wreathed mobile swastika inside an oak leaf wreath, the reverse presents the central inscription TREUE FÜR FÜHRER UND VOLK (LOYALTY FOR THE FÜHRER AND PEOPLE), measuring 42.19 mm (w) x 46.37 mm (h), on loop for suspension from period original ribbon, and in near very fine condition. A Wehrmacht 18-Year Long Service award (Wehrmacht Dienstauszeichnung für 18 Dienstjahre), constructed of silvered magnetic metal, presenting as a Cross Pattée with bordered arms, obverse with central Wehrmacht-style German national eagle clutching a mobile swastika, reverse with central number 18, unmarked, measuring 35.66 mm (w) x 38.87 mm (h), on loop for suspension from period original ribbon with miniature eagle, and in near very fine condition A Wehrmacht 4-Year Long Service award (Wehrmacht Dienstauszeichnung für 4 Dienstjahre), constructed of circular silvered metal (magnetic), on loop for suspension, with its period original ribbon and Hoheitszeichen, the obverse with the German eagle in the centre, circumscribed in German Gothic lettering Treue Dienste in der Wehrmacht (Faithful Service in the Armed Forces), the reverse with the raised number 4 centrally within an oak wreath border; measuring 29.68 mm in diameter, and in good condition. A German West Wall Medal (Deutsches Schutzwall-Ehrenzeichen), constructed of bronze, in an oval shape, the obverse featuring a bunker, a crossed sword and shovel, and the German national eagle, circumscribed by a wreath of oak leaves, the reverse bears the inscription FÜR ARBEIT ZUM SCHUTZE DEUTSCHLANDS (FOR WORK ON THE DEFENCE OF GERMANY), measuring 33.11 mm (w) x 44.71 mm (h), on loop for suspension from period original ribbon, and in better than very fine condition. All on parade mounting with period original ribbons, with green felt backer, horizontal pinback, measuring 14.7 cm long, the NSDAP 10-Year service award has separated from the backer, but all others in good condition.
